I obtained my PhD in the School of Psychological Science at the University of Western Australia, under the supervision of Professor Ullrich Ecker, Dr Briana Kennedy, and Associate Professor Nicolas Fay.
My research primarily focuses on the role social factors, specifically social endorsement, play in both people’s vulnerability to misinformation and the continued influence effect of corrected misinformation. I am particularly interested in how the characteristics of online social networking sites may influence accurate memory and belief updating.
